Ceremony begins promptly at 5PM. We recommend arriving up to 30 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to park, find your seat, and get settled. We will be providing transportation from our room blocks in downtown Newport.

Weather permitting, the ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be held in a tent. Please keep this in mind when getting dressed, we recommend block heels!

Formal Attire - think dark full suit, long/midi dresses (no cocktail dresses please). But keep in mind it is mid-october and ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside!

Typically in mid-October it is early fall weather with warm days (highs around 65°F) and cooler nights (lows in the high 50s°F).

For those flying we recommend flying into Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, which is about 30 minutes from Newport.

Yes, we will be providing transportation from both hotels, to and from the venue. You are more than welcome to use the provided transportation if you are staying outside the room blocks, you may choose to meet at either hotel.

Yes! We are hosting a welcome party on Friday 10/9 at La Forge Casino Restaurant (located next to the Tennis Hall of Fame - 186 Bellevue Avenue Newport, RI 02840). Looking forward to welcoming you into Newport before wedding day!

Yes! We are hosting an after party directly following our wedding at the Wayfinder Hotel Bar (151 Admiral Kalbfus Road, Newport, RI 02840) - transportation will bring guests there from the wedding, and back to the Newport Marriott.

Yes! We are planning to have a farewell event following the wedding, on Sunday 10/11. We are finalizing details now and will provide them ASAP. If you're still in town, we'd love to say an official goodbye!
